Ways to Give

There are many ways to contribute to LifeBridge Health and its affiliated entities.

  • Donor Advised Fund: A donor advised fund (DAF), which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to LifeBridge Health-affiliated hospitals and programs and other qualified charities. You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts.

  • Monthly Donor Program: Support our mission while being kind to your budget using our monthly donation program. A manageable gift of $10, $20, or even $50 per month has a tremendous impact on the lives entrusted to our care! To become a monthly donor, click “Make a Gift” on the location you’d like to donate to above.

  • Cash and Credit Card Gifts: Gifts of cash are as easy as writing a check or making your gifts using a credit card. You may receive an added bonus if your credit card offers an incentive program, such as cash back, frequent flier miles or purchase rebates. To make a cash or credit card gift, click “Make a Gift” on the location you’d like to donate to above.

  • The LifeBridge Health Philanthropy Fund: Managed by Morgan Stanley, this donor-advised fund works like a philanthropic savings account. The account can grow in value but instead of using the dollars to pay expenses, the cash and assets are used to support LifeBridge Health hospitals and programs. If you are interested in setting up a fund, please call Joel Simon at 410-601-4443 to complete a donor application.

  • Gift of Appreciated Securities: Giving appreciated stocks and bonds offers an excellent way to support the hospital's programs, while receiving an income tax deduction and eliminating capital gains tax. For transfer information, please contact Joel Simon at 410-601-4443 or via email at jsimon@lifebridgehealth.org.

  • Honor and Memorial Gifts: Family members and friends often wish to make a gift to honor a special occasion or to memorialize a loved one. The Corporate Development Department will send a personalized card on your behalf to inform the individual or family of your gift.

  • Planned Giving: Many individuals wish to make significant gifts to our LifeBridge affiliates, but need to retain the earning power of their assets. There are a variety of planned giving vehicles that allow for this type of commitment. Visit our Planned Giving page for complete information about making bequests or life income gifts or contact Joel Simon at 410-601-4443 or via email at jsimon@lifebridgehealth.org.

  • Matching Gifts: Your current employer or your spouse's employer may offer a matching gift program that will match your donation to a charity 100 percent or more! Matching gifts are the perfect opportunity for you to double the impact of your donation. Contact your Human Resources Department for more information.

Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hospital, Grace Medical Center, Center for Hope and The Family Tree are not-for-profit organizations exempt from federal taxes under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
